Our Tutors

Handpicked, Vetted and Genuinely Expert

We're selective about who teaches you. Every tutor meets a set of non-negotiable standards long before they ever guide a single learner.

Qualified Subject Specialists
Every SBTL tutor is a qualified subject specialist with genuine, hands-on experience in their field. Many hold doctoral, postgraduate and professional qualifications, so your guidance is always grounded in deep, up-to-date expertise.
Real Industry Experience
We don't hire straight from academia. Every tutor has spent significant time practising their specialism at a senior level in the real world before entering education.
Qualified to Teach and Practise
Every tutor holds both subject-matter and recognised teaching qualifications — so you learn from someone who knows their field inside out and knows how to teach it.
Committed to Ongoing CPD
Every tutor completes regular CPD and stays current with awarding-body specifications, industry developments and assessment best practice — so your guidance is always up to date.
A Rigorous Selection Process
Every applicant is rigorously assessed on subject knowledge, teaching ability and professional experience before joining our tutor team. Every candidate is tested on subject knowledge, teaching ability, industry credentials and commitment to learners.
A Proven Track Record
Our tutors help learners achieve a 94.8% pass rate and an Excellent 4.5/5 rating across all subjects and qualification levels — outcomes, not promises.

Our Promise

What You Can Always Count On

Our tutors aren't contractors filling shifts — they're invested professionals who teach because they genuinely want you to succeed. Here's what that means for you.

Expertise That's Truly Dual
Every tutor is chosen for both academic excellence and real-world expertise — never just one or the other.
Vetted and Continuously Assessed
Every tutor is rigorously vetted, continuously assessed, and required to maintain consistently high learner-satisfaction scores.
Matched to You
Every learner is matched with the tutor best suited to their subject, level and learning style — not simply whoever is free.
Every Session Is Personal
Every session is genuinely tailored — prepared for you, delivered for you, and focused entirely on your progress.
A Reply Within 24 Hours
Ask a question through the Support Desk and you'll hear back from your tutor within one business day — usually much sooner.
Invested in Your Outcome
Your tutor's job isn't done at feedback — they stay with you until you've passed, progressed, and reached the goal you enrolled for.
