OTHM Level 6 Diploma In Business Management


The Level 6 Diploma in Business Management will help the learner build a strong foundation in management. The course is mainly targeting the learner who wishes to build their career in the business sector. The course content includes strategic human resource management, operation management, leadership and people management, sustainable business practice, financial decision-making, and the business research skills expected of a manager. OTHM qualifications at RQF Level 6 represent practical knowledge, skills, capabilities, and competencies assessed in academic terms as equivalent to Bachelor’s Degrees with Honours, Bachelor’s Degrees, Professional Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), Graduate Diplomas and Graduate Certificates.

  • International students whose first language is not in English, they will need to have score of 5.5 or above in IELTS (International English Language Testing System)

Learners completing the OTHM Level 6 Diploma in Business Management will allow progress to:

  • OTHM Level 7 Diplomas; or
  • Will be eligible to gain direct entry into relevant Master’s degree programmes; or
  • Directly into employment in an associated profession.

The OTHM Level 6 Diploma in Business Management consists of 6 mandatory units for a combined total of 120 credits, 1200 hours Total Qualification Time (TQT) and 480 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) for the completed qualification.

Learners must request before enrolment to interchange unit(s) other than the preselected units shown in the SBL website because we need to make sure the availability of learning materials for the requested unit(s). SBL will reject an application if the learning materials for the requested interchange unit(s) are unavailable.

Learners are not allowed to make any request to interchange unit(s) once enrolment is complete.
