BA (Hons) in Tourism and Hospitality Management


The BA (Hons) in Tourism and Hospitality Management provides a solid insight into the tourism sector that helps you build a career in this industry. This program allows you to explore the concepts and characteristics of tourism and hospitality as an academic and applied study area concerning business, management, and broader social science and at local, national, and global levels. It also helps provide a broader knowledge in the operation and management of resources, Human resource development and management within an organization, management and use of finance and accounting information, and the development of policies and strategies for an organisation based on the external business environment. It also discusses the issues related to the global environment, sustainable development, ethics, and the use of technology.

The program comprises three phases; the first phase is the Level 4 Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management awarded by OTHM, an Ofqual regulated awarding body. The second phase is the Level 5 Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management awarded by OTHM; an Ofqual regulated awarding body. The third phase is BA (Hons) in Tourism and Hospitality Management awarded by University Of Chichester.

Students who have completed the OTHM Level 5 Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management will only be eligible for the BA (Hons) in Tourism and Hospitality Management awarded by the University Of Chichester.

The University of Chichester is a Public University located in West Sussex, England offering Graduate and Post Graduate Degrees. All the master and top up programs are delivered by London Graduate School and validated by the University of Chichester.

  • Level 4 and Level 5 Diploma in Tourism & Hospitality Management with 240 credits, awarded by an Ofqual accredited awarding body.

Learners must request before enrolment to interchange unit(s) other than the preselected units shown in the SBL website because we need to make sure the availability of learning materials for the requested unit(s). SBL will reject an application if the learning materials for the requested interchange unit(s) are unavailable.

Learners are not allowed to make any request to interchange unit(s) once enrolment is complete.
